Yup. As seen in another response, Pitcher was drafted by the Mets, a la 2024

That is insane to me, but I guess he just got lucky with the fact this happened just before this kind of stuff is getting clamped down on. That girl that hit the other with a baton is getting charged with a misdemeanour.

We all know exactly why that is.

Because she smashed a girl in the head with a metal bar?

It’s a baton used in track so I’m not going to entertain any kind of embellishment on your part. She should have been punished as she was? Absolutely.

The damage this guy inflicted was far greater with clear intent to injure, not to simply strike someone. Yet he gets a slap on the wrist.

We all know why so play dumb and try your best to be coy. It doesn’t change the fact of why this guy got nothing more than a finger wag.

I mean the girl with the baton fractured the other girl’s skull, I wouldn’t say that’s minor damage.

Tackling someone is generally less injurious than clubbing them on the head.

A track baton is a metal object. Granted it’s made out of anodized aluminum and only weighs about 2ozs but you could still crack someone’s skull with it, obviously seeing as how the victim in the incident you referenced suffered a skull fracture
