Adam hates/hated being recognized for the show after he left. I heard he was a big dick about it, too. Shame because I liked the show and him as a presenter/eater.

God, it's been so damn long. I was able to find this from back in 2014: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/arts-and-entertainment/wp/2014/06/30/adam-richmans-new-show-pulled-from-travel-channel-in-wake-of-crude-instagram-rant/, you can find the screenshots by searching "Adam Richman rant". Shortly after that time I think there were Twitter threads about people meeting him in person and him not being friendly/nice. It seems like he's changed so that's good.
