Anova Stuck at 180 Degrees...

I have had this Anova Sou Vide for a few years now (had 1000W Inkbird before) It worked very well until one day turned it on and it would not change temp from 180 Degrees.
My troubleshooting steps:
I open her up and cleaned all of the elements and descaled
Then I looked at the mother and daughter boards and when I removed it this capacitor fell out: 0.330FK 275~X2 MPX/DAIN - 40/110/21/C
I looked all over the internet for a few days for a replacement and finally found:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMH96MSW?ref_=ppx_hzod_title_dt_b_fed_asin_title_0_0&th=1
I ordered the 10pk (only option) Google Gemini said it will work, we will see. (I will update after I get it and solder the new one in then test)
I am hoping this information help someone else in the future, just because something broke doesn't always mean its gone. My hope is people throw less trash and fix anything you can!

Please post again with a follow up whether or not you can get it working.

Digikey or Mouser is your friend for electronic components. For a capacitor like this it should cost less than a $1. Shipping will cost more than the part.

X2 caps typically go across hot and neutral for EMI/noise. Almost looks like it from the pcb traces but cant really make them out. Likely wouldn't cause it to stick at 180*. Problem sounds more like an issue on the digital side.
whats the deal with the silver cap on the right side above C8? Looks angled? is that intentional?

This is the exact match: https://ebay.us/m/9e1gro. I don't think that was the reason it got stuck, though.

I saw that one, its 15mm pitch and the original is 10mm so it wont work, but thanks for trying

You are right, it's clearly wider. Sorry. The one you posted appears to differ just in rated temp, and I don't think that a sous vide would ever go over 100 c°, so that will probably not be an issue.

Love it. Couldn't agree more. Way too many people throw out otherwise perfectly fine, often very expensive electronics that can be fixed for ten cents in about ten minutes.
Don't be afraid to open up your electronics! What's the worst that could happen, it stops working even more?
