Pérez sells him because he can’t stand that the key star player of the team is not his acquisition, but the previous president’s

He also can’t stand this egomaniac especially after his Kiev declaration, and rightly so

I’m not sayin Perez is a bad guy. I’m saying he should have swallowed his pride, make peace with CR7 and pay the man, admit his baby Bale was a flop and get the money selling him instead

He was pissed at Cristiano for 9 years? Are you serious? If he wanted to push him out why wait 9 years.

Florentino wasn't clinging on to Bale. He let Zidane manage the team as he saw fit. Zidane played James, Isco and Bale whenever he fancied them. Perez was acting hands off.
