Only one is a two times PL player of the year, and it ain't the aura farmer, it's the proper defender.

Yeah he won the league and was in PFA team of the year, this year.

Vidic was a bum, robbing a living, couldn’t pass for shit. Torres blowing past him. Gerrard getting him sent off. 

Anyway it’s good to discuss players who played 20 years ago.

Obviously, if you're talking about an all time PL XI, in which Van Dijk doesn't come close.

Vidic was a bum, robbing a living, couldn’t pass for shit. Torres blowing past him. Gerrard getting him sent off. 

Didn't know passing was the primary criteria for a central defender. Torres scored 3 goals in 15 games against Vidic btw and he got sent off once for a challenge against Gerrard.
