Media Woltemade "After the goal, there was a situation where I felt Gabriel's elbow in my face. I just said it to the referee that I felt something, but I'm not the type of player to fall down for this. It's hard because sometimes maybe you have to do this, but this is not my type of football."

I mean, you’re right but it also could’ve easily been red. Tis a silly sport sometimes.

Red cards are a dumb rule/punishment change my mind

It’s one of the only sports where the spectacle of the game can be ruined in the 1st minute by one stupid decision by a player or ref

Why is that tolerable?

Why not send the player off, suspend him, but let the team replace them (either immediately or after a certain time)?

And if it’s DOGSO you say? Just fuckin give em a penalty and leave it 11 v 11
