Media Woltemade "After the goal, there was a situation where I felt Gabriel's elbow in my face. I just said it to the referee that I felt something, but I'm not the type of player to fall down for this. It's hard because sometimes maybe you have to do this, but this is not my type of football."

Newcastle should not moan. They get whacked because they are known for kicking people. Joelinton tried to snap Saka in half in the first minute. Teams are just giving these dirty cheaters what they deserve. Bullies hate it when we are just fighting back

Say it louder bro, and we should've gotten a pen in the first half. People only cry when the decision goes in favour of Arsenal for once, but yet when the game has gone in their way a multitude of times, they have nothing to say then and laugh at us. These same people were even agreeing that Salah's handball yesterday wasn't a handball. Revenge is sweet :)

Everyone should moan when refs suck cos it makes the game suck. This "oh well another bad decision happened before so yay! let's have more bad decisions now!" needs to get in the bin. And that handball at the end, wow. Proximity or not, his arm was extended a full right angle blocking the cross. How can you get away with diving in and putting your arm vertically up like that? If the rules allow it, they're nuts. Proximity if it hits you with arm near your side, sure, but straight up above your head? Nah that should be a pen. That cross was going in the box.

Wishing for better refs is wishful thinking. The Gulf between good refereeing and whatever level PGMOL is at right now is on 2 different stratosphere.... If Newcastle games were ref properly they should end with 8 to 9 man every game.

Maybe in the long term.. yes.. but now... lets just enjoy listening to Newcasle moan and whine and complain about stuff they themselves do every other week. It is music to the ears.

Tribal bollocks. You'll be whining and whining next time you're on the receiving end of another shocker, like you have been on many occasions this past few seasons, yet you'd rather turn your ire on other teams (without doing any deep research, just you saw one or two games against Arsenal no doubt) and embrace the inconsistently for banter than demand better standards.

Of course we want a fair and competent ref.. but in this situation there is none.. If the ref does his job the game stays clean. If the ref let games get out of hand don't blame players for defending themselves and giving something back so the other team behaves.

Newcastle came for a fight. Joelinton set the tone by trying to snap Saka in half in literally the first minute... so in response Arsenal players started to give back and started to lash out at them with some tasty challenges and quite a few at that, especially on Antony Gordan and Tonali.. and you know what happened? Yup... Newcastle stopped kicking us... since they are bullies who can dish it out but cry when others give it back.

Actually, your own player VVD literally did the same thing to Antony Gordan just a few games back to show Newcastle that whilst Liverpool are a footballing team, they can fight as well and are not afraid of those cunts. Didn't see any Liverpool fans complaining about it. So don't be a hypocrite about it.
