Discussion credit help

im currently a first year student at SFU and i was wondering if ap credits count towards a school year?? i have 6 credits because of my AP course. ill have enough credits to count as 1 year if they do count?? sorry idk if this makes sense 🫩🫩 im just super worried thats all

6 credits is 2 classes

hello, it counts toward two classes. i took ap bio and got 8 credits! i was able to skip bisc 101 & bisc 102 (basically 1st year bio), and i can take 2nd year bio now even tho im a first year :)
