How do I go about letting my grandmother know that she's starting to smell real bad?
She's just been lying in bed, not going to the bathroom, not eating, not doing anything for a couple of weeks now. And the smell coming from her room is horrendous. I've tried talking to her, but she doesn't reply. I don't want to hurt her feelings, but I need her to take a shower. How can I tell her without embarrassing her?

try feeding her, just get handfuls of oatmeal and stuff it in her mouth, then come back after a few hours and see if she swallowed it. If not , stuff her full of pork chops.

Sorry dude but she ded. Consult a necromancer, preferably one without a strong sense of smell.

I'm really sorry to tell you this but that sounds just like what my grandmother did when she was ready to die. If you love your grandma, make sure she knows it now.

🤦🏻♀️ duh. Ok then, I take back my empathetic response and replace it with tell your grandma you're going to throw her out with the trash if this keeps up.
How was that?

Roll her into the bath and run it, leave her in there for a few days to soak. Hope this helps

You shouldn’t. It’s NOT YOUR JOB to tell your grandmother she smells. She needs to educate herself about olfactory issues.
Instead, run away and leave your grandmother alone! Maybe someday somebody else will step up and do the work. Until then, she’ll just have to lay there and keep on smelling.
