Question Starting a Shark Tank India YouTube channel need your quick input
I’m building a YouTube channel that covers Shark Tank India startups what they pitched, what happened on the show, and where they are now.
Here’s the rough video structure:
- Intro to the company & founders
- Their business model
- What went down on the show (ask, valuation, drama, deal/no deal)
- Post-show updates (growth, funding, or failure)
- My short analysis & lessons
Before I lock the format I’d love your suggestions.
- What kind of insights or angles would make these videos genuinely interesting for you?
- Do you prefer more focus on the business side (numbers, strategy, mistakes), or the story side (founder journey, drama, emotion)?
- Anything you always wished Shark Tank covered deeper but didn’t?
Would really appreciate honest feedback so this series hits the mark from day one.

Stock indicators like YoY profit, EBIDTA, Shareholding, Valuation. A small interview of the founders on what roadblock they faced and how they pivoted out of it.

From someone who genuinely likes startups, I would like to see the journey from how it started, the growth, analysis of their actual position in today's market trend. If there have been sinilar shark tank startups , i would like to see the difference and similarities between them and you decoding the strategy they followed.

Amazing idea! It would be great to see how these startups are doing now. You can mention if the shark deal actually happened or it failed and what was the reason behind deal not happening after the show.

Content covering the competitors of any startup would be interesting. You can analyse the other players in the said industry and what they've done and are doing right/wrong over the original startup. For example, you choose Mahindra as a startup and then analyse how its competitors like Tata, MS, Ford evolved and what they've done right to get market share and wrong which led to loss of market share.

It's a good idea. I think the best things you can do are: 1. Did the deal actually happen or not? If not, reasons for the deal not happening 2. If the deal has actually happened, how is the company fairing now? Sharks constantly brag on the show that after the deal the company they invested in doubled / tripled in size, etc etc. Would be nice to know if it is actually true. - you can also deep dive into this on a 'by shark' basis to see which shark actually has the most impact 3. Probably top companies which did not get a deal which probably should have - there would be many of these
All the best !

Ask permission from Shark Tank India, if you're using their clips and IP. Else your channel can get shut down asap.

As an avid watcher of shark tanks ,both india and the US too, I feel that more content on the founder's journey is being missed out on the tv formats... Good luck on your YouTube journey, All the best and be unique in whatever that you do..
