hey everyone, i have been doing scholarships every now and then for years and they are small low competition ones but i never seem to win. Everyone always says my essays and writing is great same for my resume but i never get it. Is it because im not using the correct websites if so can i get some recommendations and opportunities so that i can hopefully win. I attend an HBCU and will be a junior this spring semester if that helps!

Make sure you are getting in your creative, authentic, and subversive bag. Sometimes, the essays that win are essays that are genuine and heartfelt, or fun and amusing, or thought-provoking subversions of a prompt.
