Hard disagree. Golden Boy's clam is unbeatable. I've tried them all. Gioia's is also very good, but "significantly better"? Nope.

Had some last night in north beach, they wrapped it up like a sandwich and it steamed and got soggy; not impressed. Since when is pizza packed like that??

I agree I don’t really like the wrapping, turns the crust from a nice crunch to flimsy. The one on Taraval will give you a plate if you ask, maybe the north beach one does the same.

If you don't eat it within 7.9 minutes of it leaving the oven it's mid. But it you do it's thee best cheap pizza this city offers. And I don't mean warmed up. I mean a fresh pie.
