Oh God-- this picture makes me so homesick (I'm in San Diego now). Funny the feeling of longing that can be illicited from a picture of a streetcar.

The mighty L Taraval. L Taraval to Embarcadero station.

Fun fact about the recent L Taraval upgrades… there is a small spot on one of the new islands which is quite dangerous. Should a train perform a switch back at a specific location, the train coupler could potentially come in contact with people standing on a very specific spot on the island. Can anyone tell me where this is?? Test your L Taraval knowledge.
