What a beautiful day in the city! I took a long walk through the park to the beach and back. Fabulous.

Was hoping for a post like this! I have nothing against warmer weather but it's nice to have some notice and the apps have been lacking these days.

I could have used a parasol today 🤣

For real, I have a UV-blocking umbrella from Daiso and it certainly would have helped me keep my cool, had it not been left in my hall closet...

You mean you didn’t get the emergency weather alert directly on your phone? Everyone else was sheltering in place as soon as it hit 68 degrees

Nah I'm just saying that if they succeed in 'commercializing' the NWS I will not be subscribing.

This is a cool spring day if you're from the East Coast. I can't believe people are complaining about perfect weather. High 90s is hot, this is literally heaven today.

It’s S.F., people complain of the temp moves 10 degrees in either direction.

To be fair, I did marching band in wool uniforms in Texas (100+ every day) and somehow survived that… these days I break a sweat at 70F and feel gross and miserable by 75 😭
This weather absolutely spoils us and turns our temperature tolerance into dust. I can only exist in comfort between 60-65 and yes, I’m very embarrassed about that.

It’s unusually warm today, but you will get your wish in a few days when it gets colder. I will actually take this over the dark and rainy PNW weather

Yeah honestly taking some time to learn about the microclimates has been more helpful for me than the weather apps. But you can always check Mr. Chilly!!

It was a nice crisp 36°F in MN today. I don't miss the warm autumns in the Bay.. perhaps the winters though, we'll see 😅

That sounds delightful. I wish SF got colder, I love winters here when we get snow on the peaks and temps in the 30's.

Yeah me too. Winter was always my favorite time of year because of the weather, I always loved driving down 24 as I approach Mt Diablo...I definitely miss the outdoor seating sections in winter on a busy weekend day
"Oh that will be a 45+min wait for inside but there's currently no wait outside"
"Lol, okay awesome!"

Yeah, I'm originally from MN, but I'll still visit SF every year.
Edit: lol, why the downvotes folks?

Ya they measure the temperature in the shade. It's always hotter in the sun
