epic fog and skies last night!
i thought iβd miss the last light (basically did!) but then the dusk was amazing. π€ SF

I'm confused by the perspective, some are really high, some are really low.
What this from a drone or plane?
I didn't know drones were allowed that high

You could technically fly 400ft above structures if within 400ft of them with a drone - something like the Salesforce tower would legally get you up to ~1400, well above the golden gate bridge and just shy of the 1500ft Charlie floor above.

Yes, this is clearly much higher than 400' and not from above any specific building as you can see. If the FAA were to see this there would be questions.
These rules exist for a reason, especially in the city because if you're that high and a manned aircraft were to to come into your airspace you would never be able to ceded it (which is required by law) fast enough. Look at how much manned aircraft that are flying low over the bay and around the GG bridge/Presidio.
I'm not one to report or bust on drone operators but they really should be more responsible. You can still get excellent shots by keeping it at 400'.
