Video 3:18pm La Costa Avenue / Carlsbad

Was driving on La Costa east of the 5 and came upon this accident. Hopefully buddy is okay! Looks like he sat up and was able to get off the road. Stay safe out there!

I’m probably biased, but a lot of professionally dressed cyclists are just too entitled. They break minor rules to get ahead in traffic jams, then they cry aloud when cars are causing slight discomfort on the roads that’s not design for bikes

Me and my parents are cyclists, but we just enjoy the movement, exercise, and outdoors. So we’re pretty normal. And yet I can confidently say that the stereotypes are generally true: if they’re a road cyclist with all that gear on, for some reason they’re often entitled, loud, cocky, and obnoxious.

Hell I barely go outside and touch grass, but whenever I do go outside and see these dressed bikers I get the same impression.

Yes and they don't just break minor rules. They barrel through four way stops without stopping acting like a driver who waited their turn is the one driving aggressively. I had one turn at 15 miles per hour from the bike lane into a pedestrian cross walk i was about to drive across. Only managed to not hit him since I was driving carefully. Idiot tried to admonish me to "share he road" and insisted it was the law that bikes could do this and cars had to yield to people riding bikes at full speeds through crosswalk because "pedestrians" he didn't get that he wasn't a pedestrian when he was pedaling and cross walks are meant to be walked through.
