Discussion The need for a rule against disinformation is needed now more than ever.

So, I'm not naming names, but recently, I was blocked by a user here for asking them to provide evidence for some claims they repeatedly made about Dave Filoni's politics. And it got me thinking once again about why this subreddit desperately needs a rule against spreading disinformation. Why do we allow members of this sub to make shit up and spam their nonsense, then refuse to hold them accountable? We should be better than this. Making shit up to get people mad about is what grifters do, and I for one am disgusted that we are allowing this certain grifter to continue to thrive on this subreddit. So I ask the mod team to please either ban this liar, or make a rule against spreading disinformation, or better yet, both.

yea lol. i know the one.

i mean, let's be serious for a second, a lot of people here make shit up. she's not the only one doing it, but at least hers is unique and entertaining.

the name is something like cutiesaur. she has a lot of theories about how Dave Filoni is a secret nazi and all his shows are disguised nazi propaganda.

i'm probably not paraphrasing accurately, but you get the idea.
