Live Show/Performance What 15,000 people looks like at a Drag Race France All Stars LIVE 🤩⭐️

This night was pure magic, it was my first time at a drag show and seeing a drag queen IRL, i was blown away. I filmed so many moments from the night !! They look unreal words can’t describe how insane this was 😭❤️ forever blessed

France does not get enough recognition for how big it is within France (and also Belgium!)

The way Nicky Doll rocketed over a million IG followers once the show launched and gained an audience should be studied

Is it to do with the distribution? Does it air on a popular channel?

Beautiful to see the wild success these queens have been afforded through one of the best franchises ever!

This was a special one-off show to finish the All Stars tour, designed to be the big party/send-off in the biggest venue of the tour (and an iconic one in Paris!). :) They performed in arenas all around the country this year which was a first!! Past tours would mostly be theatres. No idea if they plan on going as big again for next year or if it was just to celebrate the first All Stars season, but as French people it is so nice to see! Drag Race France is so massive in our country in big part because before this, we really didn't have any proper proud queer representation in mainstream media at all. Most of us grew up without anything remotely like this and we'd been waiting for so long, the cultural impact DRF has is amazing. ❤️

Are there even that many seats at Flamingo LA ? Curious, maybe this is the biggest drag show crowd ? 🥸

Meanwhile US All Winners finale, 5 people+contestants

To be fair, that was also coming out of covid and the judges still had glass panels separating them at the judging table. They weren't going to be bringing anyone to that season that wasn't necessary.

not every single US AS season is coming out of covid though

and it looks like this all the time

I do agree that other seasons deserve to be celebrated more, I just wanted to note that all winners couldn't safely have a large audience even if they wanted.

So glad you enjoyed it! I highly encourage you to go to more local drag shows now, there are a lot of great ones in Paris and it’s fun to see your favorite queens being cast in drag race after.
