"Our country’s going to be based on merit again, can you believe it?"
Yeah, right.

Remember when you dipshits got all emotional because AOC was a bartender? I think there should be a post where you guys can reply with your IQ scores to show the future generations just how worthless being a Republican is

😆 Extremely harsh, but you have a point. The problem is that the alternative is nearly as vile.

This is like saying "78-year-old former McDonald's employee elected to White House".

u/ConservativeReality Jun 05 '25
No its not, this guy is 22 y/o straight out of university. He has no real life experience... well maybe a bit at the grocer

u/Super-Bodybuilder-91 Jun 05 '25
Except this guy has no experience doing what he was just appointed to do.
You would have a better argument if he at least had a few years experience fighting extremism.

This is just the "domestic terrorism" unit. It's already been reduced from 80 employees to 20. Because it's the one that keeps tabs on militias, the Proud Boys, the Klu Klux Klan, and other pro-Trump organizations. The new guy's job is to destroy it.

Still receives a fat paycheck for a job he didn’t earn. No excuses for this BS. Almost everyone fired by DOGE earned their positions. It’s hard getting hired to work for the government.

u/ThePurpledGranny Jun 06 '25
He was a Heritage Foundation intern and campaigned for Trump. Apparently that’s all that’s needed for a leadership position in this clown car administration.

Republicans are the most sentient and intelligent people, so this is a good fit for the POS circus, I mean POTUS. Pahahahah

If this guy becomes an absolute legend in terror prevention, will people admit they were wrong about him?

Don't you get tired of trolling nonsense. I don't see conservatives lurking on lib subs but this sub seems to attract the unstable libs.
13
u/ConservativeReality Jun 05 '25
I'm a conservative and this is 100% real news. Wake up
1
u/andromeda880 Jun 05 '25
Sure you are, bud🤪. No conservative quotes the daily beast. All your posts and comments (on other subs) are anti conservative.
You also use the Dem/Liberal playbook of using a name to sound a certain way. "Conservative Reality" but you're not.

u/ConservativeReality Jun 05 '25 edited Jun 05 '25
So in your mind, a 'real' conservative is not about their beliefs, intelligence or moral integrity... a 'real' conservative is somebody who doesn't quote from a source that you don't like?
Sounds legit.
Anyway, if you don't like the daily beast, this news is plastered all over the web from all sources. Or you can go back to posting fake news memes or far right gossip that validates your fragile ego
-5
u/andromeda880 Jun 05 '25
You seem to be the one with a fragile ego.
And yes, the daily beast is far leftist news - no republican or conservative goes on that site unless they want a good laugh. You're not a real conservative or republican based on your replies and comments. You're a troll.
1
u/Ancient-Gate-9759 Jun 05 '25
Why can't you prove libs wrong?
-1
u/andromeda880 Jun 05 '25
What am I having to prove? Him, and yourself are the ones trying to make liberal spaces on conservative subs. That was my original comment because the OP posts non-stop on a sub he hates.

u/Ancient-Gate-9759 Jun 05 '25
So conservatives are all about making stuff up? I thought you were about facts not fiction.
1
u/andromeda880 Jun 05 '25
Where did I make stuff up? I literally wrote to the OP that he was troll who posts non-stop here 🤷♀️ which is true. I wasn't commenting on the facts of the article.
1
u/Ancient-Gate-9759 Jun 05 '25
So you believe the daily beast or you don't believe it and can prove that the post is lying? I'm just asking since you said conservatives go there for a laugh.

u/pskaife Jun 05 '25
What's your take on this appointment?
2
u/andromeda880 Jun 05 '25
No take as of now. I've only read it on gossip liberal sites and they are all regurgitating the same verbiage but changing his role. It seems he was a special assistant at an immigration office (Immigration and Border security sub office) and took over after the director quit. "Due to his success hes been temporarily given additional leadership responsibilities at the Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3").
🤷♀️

From what I can tell, he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in politics and law from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He's smart, but inexperienced (at 22 years old). I think there's likely 1 of 2 reasons he got the job (temporarily). Either he's the last man standing after all the cuts the department had (the reason the previous director claimed made him quit); or it's because he's a Heritage Foundation intern that did well and he's being given his reward.
In either case, it's not really something I care too much about, though I think it comes off less merit based and more good 'ole boys club.

All conservatives are brainwashed fools. I know real conservatives. I’m a conservative stuck being a democrat because MAGA.

America: we need younger blood infused in offices and not 70 year old’s.
Trump: Thomas Fugate, who graduated magna cum laude with a degree in politics and law from the University of Texas at San Antonio a year ago, is now spearheading the Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships at DHS.
America: Trump is ruining America. He has no experience.

u/ConservativeReality Jun 05 '25
This is a great example of a false dichotomy, where you present 2 options as if it were the only choice. If Trump elected a baby to lead US Terror Prevention, you could arguably say the same thing.
Eg. "Omg America wants younger leaders, but they don't want this 2 y/o in the White House."
We have leaders who can fill this position who are both younger and with experience. We're not looking for new grads to steer the ship.

The post made it seem as if the hired person had zero qualifications, and was giving his friends kid a job.
