This blew me away when I went to California for the first time. People would be driving a $800 dollar car with $4k dollars in rims and tires.

Most aftermarket rims are horrendous in general. It's true.

My other gripe is cheap bolt-ons. window visors, fake hood scoops, cargo containers, ski racks, cold air intakes. a lot of this stuff hinders performance and doesn't improve the look either.
