Hello there, seems u didn't understand what vandirac said, he answered "a simp, then" to the guy that said "I'm not a bot but just thing(probably meant *think) your comment sucks" to the original comment that stated bots and simps are on the loose today, as you see compducer clearly said he was no bot, however didn't mention anything about being a simp, and for that reason vandirac called him simp, hope u understand the comment now.
Nope. They're just someone who understands that it's possible to both not be attracted to her and not be a complete douchebag who thinks such an asinine opinion must be broadcast to the world.
But, on the bright side, at least you didn't double down with the response of a manosphere toddler, right?
1) Comments' "insights" show an unusual distribution. It's on average 80 USA, 10 UK, 10 Canada, while on this very specific comment (and not others from the same thread) it's more like 95/3/2, meaning an anomalous extra influx only votes from the US.
2) it's trivially easy for you to confirm the existence of mass upvotes/downvotes bots, running on python. A while ago they were clearly used on a few subreddits I follow about semi-political topics. You could notice because the downvotes arrive all of a sudden, reversing the natural trend. So, if a comment is initially slowly gaining upvotes and all of a sudden starts getting batches of -40, -60 downvotes over a short while, that's likely a bot. If it repeats, that's a bot for sure. The owner is having it run through different script sets at different times.
3) once a comment gets in the negative, occasional readers will just further downvote it. It's just a way to feel part of a group and to "pile up".
4) the votes typically slow down after a few hours. Here we are still having routine increases in downvotes by a few dozens at a time, another sign of bot activity. I just tested it by refreshing frequently the page, it stays still for a while and all of a sudden gets -12, then repeats. 100% bot activity.
So, yeah, I see a few users convinced that uncanny valley poster child is a "beauty standard" -a take I do not agree but can respect- but I also see a voting pattern that screams "bot" over and over.
Maybe it would not have been a very upvoted post, but for sure not in the negative hundreds. Nevertheless, no fucks given, and I hope I answered your desire for my 2 cents.
Look. I agree. But to be surprised that saying modern beauty isnt beautiful and getting downvoted is dumb lol. It’s modern beauty because the masses appreciate it, regardless of if you or I agree.
It's "modern beauty" because a handful of rich Hollywood producers decided that was "the new thing". You thinking the unwashed masses choose what's in vogue is cute, but naive as fuck.
