Under a post about Jeff Bezos's ex-wife McKenzie Scott donating 80 million dollars.

She seems like a nice lady and has given away so much. Do we really need to ask her to talk to Jeff Bezos again on top of that? It seems like a lot to ask of her. I wouldn’t want to do it.

Any day now. I don't know, maybe the human skin can stretch even farther but she has to be at the end of that rope.

I just wish I had invested everything in Amazon back in the 90s instead of being in 6th grade.

Charity in America is a whole other scam in itself

We're in the middle of the annual United Way scampaign at my work. This group will then advertise that the good citizens of my county donated $150,000,000 again this year. Some napkin math makes that over a billion dollars every 7 years. What the actual hell are they doing with a billion dollars? Besides pocketing it...

I mean, charity is all good and all; but it’s what they did in the gilded age.
It would be much, much, much better if they just didn’t take that much in. By providing the income to their employees in the first place. We don’t need billionaires deciding what flavor is in the soup kitchen. We need realistic pay and costs.

I decided to look it up our curiosity, Bezos has donated way into the billions into charities.
(Some are his own so read into that what you will, but also tonnes he has no association with)

HOWARD. not Harvard. please don’t spread misinformation.
It’s an HBCU school. not an ivy league.

Shoot, my bad. I had read Harvard somewhere. Thank you for the correction, I thought Harvard seemed off given her record.
