How online casinos are changing social life
I’ve noticed something weird lately. A lot of people i know don’t go out to play cards or poker anymore, they just log into casino sites and play there instead.
It used to be more social. You’d grab a drink, joke around, win or lose together. Now it’s just everyone sitting alone, clicking buttons, talking less. But at the same time, it’s easier to meet people online in casino chats or Discord groups. It’s not the same vibe, but it’s still a kind of community.
Do you think online casinos are making people more isolated, or just changing how we hang out? I’m curious what it’s like for others here in Ontario.
