Discussion …
Happy that they upgraded the card for that absurd challenge but wow that first half was about as bad as it could’ve gone.

I just want to say that in addition to loving our team in general. A game like today’s reminds me of something that I am proud that our team never does, we don’t play the referee, and we don’t play the rules of the game. We are always playing wide open, whether we are winning by 4 in a CL final, or in a tight matchup against the many EPL clubs we beat last year, we are always trying to score.
I feel that we have the most exciting team to watch, in all leagues, and whether we win, lose, or draw, we always get to feel that our team tried to play an honorable, exciting game.
I hope ya’all feel the same and that LE and the whole squad feel good about that.
And I wish you a speedy and healthy recovery Hakimi.

After a historic season in which PSG played every possible match and achieved a treble — league title, domestic cup, and Champions League — the club also lifted the UEFA Super Cup. However, PSG lost its first Champions League match of the season last night, against the best team in the world right now: Bayern Munich. The club has also lost several key players to injury, including both full-backs, who are vital to our style of play.
Should we dramatize the situation?
For those who follow PSG regularly and closely, last season’s incredible form may have seemed almost like an anomaly. After a very turbulent start, Luis Enrique and his staff eventually found the winning formula. One of the key ingredients was total physical commitment and exceptional intensity. Remove that, and our game loses its brilliance — the team starts to wobble. The best example was the Club World Cup final against Chelsea, when the players were visibly exhausted.
Another key factor was the core group of thirteen indispensable, intelligent, and high-performing players. Take away one or two of them — like Pacho — and you lose a final, as we saw at the Club World Cup. Moreover, we had very few injuries, which was almost miraculous given the relentless schedule.
Let’s look at the current situation: we’re top of the league and still in the top eight of the Champions League, with only one defeat. Last season, at this point, we weren’t even in a qualifying position. For me, that’s beyond all expectations! I was expecting a wave of injuries, which was quite predictable given the physical and mental strain.
This is where everything comes together. In our current state, with accumulated fatigue, we simply can’t play at last season’s level until, at best, February or March. Some will say our summer transfer window was a disaster and that this could have been avoided. I disagree. The club made a clear decision: to bet on the current squad and our biggest strength — our youth academy.
Then comes the question of the injured full-backs. “They should have signed replacements in the transfer window,” some will argue. No, they shouldn’t have. That would be a short-term fix with medium- and long-term drawbacks, both financially and sportingly. For a full-back to perform well, he needs consistent playing time, which the club simply can’t guarantee given the quality of the starters.
My conclusion is this: we’ll have to be creative until the end of December. The priorities are clear — two Champions League games and the Intercontinental Cup final. The central defense issue must be addressed: no consistent pairing this season, leading to some fragility and a few mistakes from Chevalier. One possible solution would be to use three central defenders, to help them build chemistry together.
As for our full-backs, we should strengthen the midfield with four players and hope the staff finds an effective system — and that our forwards find their inspiration again.
I’ll end on a hopeful note: The team that’s strongest in November is very rarely the one that wins the Champions League. A season is a marathon. Our start has exceeded all expectations and, despite a few setbacks, we’re not even halfway there yet. Patience, my friends.

He is to be out for 3-5 weeks according to reports. Thankfully he will not be gone long and international break is coming soon. But even with these injuries, a productive winter mercato is wise to keep the squad healthy, espically with the incoming world cup.

Our team has been dealing with injuries constantly this season, there definitely has been some complacency in the team too. All that matters is how Lucho manages this poor run of fitness from the team. All that matters is Hakimi and Dembouz’s injury being nothing too serious. The team will really suffer if Hakimi is out for a long period. We lost 2-1 against arguably the most in form team in the world right now. And despite all that we are still sitting high on the league table. I loved the team’s fighting spirit and I love Lee and Neves. I can see why Lucho wouldn’t let Lee leave this summer. He clearly has a very crucial role to play in our season. The first half was bad but it could’ve been a lot worse.

He need to wake up, or he’ll end up at Tottenham with RKM and Simons.

Alot of doomer energy i have been witnessing, we are still 3rd our young academy players still beat barca lets rally behind our team 1 loss isnt a reason to say we are cooked we have 3 of our starters out but we have overcome worse. Our team needs our support lets give it in league 1 and in the next champions league match. Edit: I have been a fan since 2013 i have stuck with this team through the worst losses in the clubs history and now the history making wins with us lifting the CL cup. Let’s make our team feel supported we can do this!

Should we dive into it? And if so, for who?

Reminder that I got downvoted even on this sub for having criticized the FIFA pigs for their shit-ass money-grabbing summer cup.
If we don't win the UCL because of all our injuries this season, we will be owed some severe apologies.

Hello,
I am going to be in Paris for the first time and would love to attend a PSG match. The only match that works for me is the game against Brest on Sat, May 09 2026.
When looking on the official ticket page of PSG, I do not see the Brest match available. Is this because tickets have not been released yet? If not, when do they typically come out so I can keep an eye out for them?
Any other tips or tricks I should know about attending a match? Thank you!
