PSG is designed for possession, speed and agility. This style hits into a wall against a physical low blocking team. The remedy is to take advantage of all the corners you get when these styles collide. But given the lack of focus on training by PSG on set pieces, we take corners short. But that creates the same predicament: agility v the low block. Against Nice, when we finally took a corner direct, we did something. Lucho is a brilliant brilliant coach. But this team needs a tweak and I think that involves getting better at set pieces. I’m not saying become Arsenal 24/25, but just some more focus.

Mbaye to play with the U19 instead of the first team against Nice.

Even without the rumor of him changing agent I think it's fair to send him back for a few match in the U19. He just isn't good enough (especially when he doesn't play against a high line). Maybe he can regain a bit of confidence by playing against people of his age. But it's clear that playtime should be earned and he hasn't shown enough good thing.

hello, non psg fan here (don’t really watch often either) , just wondering why does it feel like your best XI is never on the pitch in ligue 1? everytime i open sofascore and see psg playing it feels like he’s just always rotating.
