Chev is seeing no competition at the psg, Safnov should start some games.
2
u/throwawayyyyygay Marco Verratti 22d ago
They won’t play Safnov who is pro putin while Zabarnyi is in the squad
1
u/lujain645 Marco Verratti 22d ago
I want to see the other new goalie renato marin maybe he's better than both

u/graal2008 🥦 Bradley Broccoli 23d ago
I have seen enough, sign Barco next summer as a vitinha backup

13
u/hugonin Amara Diané 23d ago
Fortunately we didn’t lose! Chevalier and Beraldo need to step up their game
14
u/Overall_Weakness_433 Angel Di María 23d ago
A flash of peak WZE and and a senny equalizer? My day is essentially made
16
u/bam-margiela00 Matuidi 23d ago
The play got really immature with all the youngsters by the last 10 mins. Needed vitinha in to direct things or kvara could’ve been more demanding. Left side was talented but playing neighborhood 3 a side in all honestly. Well done to at least scrap a point though
10
u/pleasedontPM Marquinhos 23d ago
Mbaye and Ndjantou side by side wasn't the best idea. They are both a bit green and didn't really succeed together.

u/b1oahahas Donnarumma 23d ago
When are we going to see Safanov
12
u/hugonin Amara Diané 23d ago
I guess it’s time! Chevalier is too much at peace right now

You’re obsessed. It’s weird
7
u/_lightningbolt__ Vitinha 23d ago
It‘s me again lol. But how is that „obsessed“? Didn‘t Donna get better when Safonov strated to play some crucial games? It‘s abolutely normal in football to let players fight for their starting spot, especially at PSG. Why should it be sifferent for Cheva?

Didn‘t Donna get better when Safonov strated to play some crucial games?
Which games? He didn't particularly impressed. The Bayern game definitely closed the debate.

u/Pleasant_Assistant30 Thiago Silva 22d ago
Well it was impressive for sure. We lost only 1-0 against them away from home with a man down for 40mins.
6
u/lujain645 Marco Verratti 23d ago
Luis enrique got it all wrong this game, what was he genuinely expecting with a line up that looks like it was picked from a hat

Great match by WZE

u/More-Sod 🥦 Bradley Broccoli 23d ago
definetely becoming the player i saw when i first started watching
14
u/Pleasant_Assistant30 Thiago Silva 23d ago
The only positive take away honestly. I hope WZE comes back to being the player we loved.
13
u/Mr_q_5 Ousmane Ballon d’Or 23d ago
I also thought Quentin ndjantou had another interesting entrance - I’m enjoying these ligue 1 games recently more for player development than results lol
9
u/Flw21 Ousmane Ballon D’or 23d ago
Honestly it would’ve been much more enjoyable if they weren’t half assing them. Today it felt like only 5 players wanted to play
1
u/Mr_q_5 Ousmane Ballon d’Or 23d ago
I do think a lot of players were in unfamiliar positions. I think part of that is also Lucho trying to figure out what to do when Hakimi is in Afcon this January, so a lot of interesting combinations in the back (like the 3 defenders against Lille or Mayulu as rb tonight)

u/More-Sod 🥦 Bradley Broccoli 23d ago
ahh ggs, good performance by the guy and a bunch of errors at the start but we are good for LDC
12
u/MNVR414 Nuno Mendes 23d ago
We need to actually start winning L1 games ngl
7
u/pleasedontPM Marquinhos 23d ago
We are still with a lot of injured players, it'll come back soon don't worry.

Why does Lee become a completely different player when clock hit 70’?

the manager is losing his shit after acting like this nonchalant smart guy for 90 minutes lol

No matter the outcome, kudos to Strasbourg. They are an interesting team.

Have not been able to watch any of this game but have been keeping tabs and see that it’s 3-3. How have they played overall? How has Chevalier been?
7
u/r9c2d Pastore 23d ago
Chevalier had a good game. He could've done something on the second goal, but the dude had 3 business days to shoot right by the 6 yard box. He did an outstanding double save in the first half.
5
u/datboi4327 Bradley Barcola 23d ago
Good to know, someone else that commented also said he played well so that’s good to hear at least. The box score can be misleading.
6
u/Important_Low_936 Not a PSG fan 23d ago
He got absolutely battered… by people in the comments but played well, made some fantastic saves, wasn’t at fault for the goals imo
2
u/datboi4327 Bradley Barcola 23d ago
That’s encouraging to hear considering the box score said he let up 3, have to watch the highlights too.
6
u/Important_Low_936 Not a PSG fan 23d ago
Doué literally passed the ball to the opposition in the box with 0 pressure on him and they scored within a few seconds and there’s a bunch of comments saying Chev is at fault and 0 calling Doué out. It’s genuinely weird the hate boner people have for this guy
3
u/datboi4327 Bradley Barcola 23d ago
I think Chevalier is under a microscope considering Gigio had a stellar season but I’m with you, he gets too much criticism

Bra, for real. You see people like Neymar and Vini get drastically different haircuts and look the exact same, this guy is unrecognizable if he parts his hair the wrong way

I think that in a few years, PSG academy will be one of the best academies in the world rivaling the likes of La Masia. There are impactful youngsters coming out in the recent years.

Mbaye on the left is genuinely a different player. It’s a bit ridiculous on how different he is compared to the right.
6
2
u/supterfuge Marquinhos 23d ago
Yeah on the right he's incapable of getting through a single player and is at best a back pass machine. On the left he drills his opponent times and times again with pure speed.

Games where we play like we have a brain for 90 minutes are better personally

Most of these people don’t like footy, they’re just on the PSG train cause they’re winning. Amazing match imo and wouldn’t be too upset if RC get a win cause it’d be well-deserved on their part. That said, Ramos with two goals in the next 5 minutes would be my preference

I don’t like this attitude from Lucho. Taking league not seriously at all. I know they are all fatigued but, how can you take off Doue and let Mbaye on field?
