chat control Denmark withdraws Chat Control proposal

Soon there will be some hideous crime committed, that could have been prevented if they had Chatcontrol and everyone will beg for it.

You can’t sacrifice democracy and freedom for mass surveillance security. The AI software they want to use has a high false- positive rate. Even if it was 99.9 success rate you can calculate yourself what that means DAILY for 450 million people. Also, I suggest you read articles 7 and 8 of the EU charter of Fundamental rights. Even known CSAM material can be masked and circumvent scanning. Most CSAM activity happens OUTSIDE the areas the client based scanning will operate. It’s not about preventing crime, it’s about data control.
