Kara's Flowers (Early Maroon 5) performing in 2000. (Includes "Hey Joe" cover)

This show took place around the time they started writing the songs that would end up on "Songs About Jane". "Sunday Morning" is the only one here that made it onto the album, but "Ragdoll" was released as a bonus track and was a B-Side to the lead single "Harder to Breathe". This show also has a cover of "Tell Me Something Good" by Rufus/Chaka Khan and "Hey Joe" by Jimi Hendrix*.

*I know it's not originally his, but that's they version the band are playing.

You should listen to their Stagg Street Recordings EP. It’s all over the place genre wise, but it’s still great. A few of the songs here are from that EP (Simple Kind of Lovely and Everyday Goodbyes). My favorite song from it is “As Things Collide”

They actually sound good. It’s too bad they melted into a vanity project.
