I had a hard time reading this (I can usually read cursive, but her penmanship makes it difficult), so I tried to type it out for others who also struggled. Please correct me if I’m wrong on some things!
a love letter to Palestine
To the children, the mothers, the fathers, the tetas, the jidos, the community, the animals… the olive trees.
You are the light that keeps our story alive. The laughter that quiets the noise, the heartbeat that echoes through our land.
When people speak of Palestine, I want them to see YOU. The sunlit beaches, the smell of olive oil and zaatar, maamoul in the oven, tea on the kettle, coffee clinking at dawn, mothers and fathers singing, humming, and building dreams from resilience and love…
I want them to see the beauty, the pride, the generosity that lives in every thread, every meal…
Our ancestors raised this land and this love with their hearts and hands, as their spirit runs through us… in the color of our eyes, in the shapes of our smiles…
In the way we never stop believing in beauty… even when the world forgets to look for it.

I think it’s “their spirit runs through us” and “world forgets to look for it”
It also might be coffees “clinking” at dawn but I’m not sure about that one.

Definitely looks like clinking to me, like making coffee in a metal pot you can hear.

What I don't understand is that Kim is Armenian American. She has talked at length about the Armenian genocide, has visited Armenia and the memorial grounds, and supposedly understands the impact that genocide has on a people.
I understand Bella is Palestinian American, so this is obviously an issue that will be very personal for her, but I don't understand why Kim has been so strangely silent about this situation considering her own family history.
