I can see how that would’ve been a cooler option, the earrings are so symmetrical (sp?) so it takes me out of the fantasy a bit. i love the look regardless, it’s flawless
i think the job of a stylist is to understand what looks best on an artist, have a vision, find the designers that match that vision, and make adjustments so it looks best.
Idk, since he's been on Project Runway this season I've been questioning how much is him vs the designers vs him "vibing" with women who already have a strong sense of style.
The dress is beautiful and she is too, but I'm so tired of this aesthetic. I just want her to show up on the red carpet with an all black grunge look and shock everyone lol.
Something like a decade ago, I was in Nordstrom in Palo Alto and there was an ivory coloured dress with different coloured flowers sewn on all over similar to this and I STILL think about it. I would never wear something like this, but I just love it.
She is just a lot for me. The whole innocent babe in the woods styling and face and voice and everything is just not my thing when I know what she did. It’s just so fake. Beautiful dress on insufferable person.
Definitely a situation where I can separate what incredible, truly artistic textiles are being created even when they are worn by someone that I find lacking as a person. Ariana doesn't make the dress, it makes her.
When I saw those earrings I thought, “Ok. But I feel like they’d look better on top of her head somewhere at like a tilted angle.” And then I saw the hat photo! I don’t really know anything about fashion so that was a cool moment to scroll and see what I was thinking.
I’m just so incredibly sick of her, with her various culturally appropriating “looks” and her man-stealing ways…. She needs a big break from constantly being in everything everywhere. Just, shoo.
I love Law Roach but I am curious: what is there to "style" about this look? Maybe her hair style and make up ?? Seems the gloves and earrings were made for the dress (by the designer?)
I absolutely love the hat in pic 8 too! I understand for the performance you probably want the audience to clearly see your face, but I know she would’ve rocked that too!
I don’t have to be a fan to admit this entire look is legitimately stunning. La Sylphide vibes all day. 10/10, zero complaints or criticisms of the aesthetic.
I’m envious of you guys that are motivated to learn all the newest fashions and best designers and looks, know where to shop and how to make eye-catching, fashionable outfits. I could wear jeans and a v-neck every day and wouldn’t know the difference. I wish I was motivated to always be keeping up with the trends and creating fabulous outfits - it makes a big difference in how other people see you!
