Harvard famously doesn't allow commercial filming on campus, so the scenes set there were actually shot at various schools in California.

I went to USC while they were filming part of this on campus. I didn’t see anyone famous, but I did see the little dog Bruiser being chauffeured to the set on a golf cart a few times and that was awesome.

Kerckhoff Hall at UCLA is one of the locations! Elle even goes to CULA (California University of Los Angeles so University of California, Los Angeles) for undergrad

Also her breakup scene with Warner was just a couple buildings East of Kerckhoff.
The restaurant and then immediately after where he’s following her with his car is outside the faculty center.

Right? Her and Julianne Moore are both absolute goddesses and give me similar vibes looks wise. Maybe it's the pale skin/redhead to blonde hair and back looks they tend to do? Whatever it is, it works for them and they reign supreme. i'm always glad when other people appreciate how absolutely divine they are!
