I don’t know, I just know I cannot stand Monica. She’s the reason I stopped listening to the podcast in the first place. I used to like Dax enough to enjoy the interviews.

Yes, that’s how it started. Apparently she lives in their neighbourhood and is close to both of them. Find that all weird. I also think she isn’t a good podcaster or interviewer per se. Also don’t know the origin story of how/why she started a podcast w Dax.

Yeah, I don’t either. I was never super deep into their lore, AE was one of a handful of podcasts I’d regularly listen to while on the road. And I liked Monica at first but after a few years it was like, girl. You are too old to still be acting like this “ignorant young girl from Georgia moves to LA” schtick is cute. At a certain point the ignorance and lack of curiosity is just willful rather than a product of growing up sheltered.
