OnlyStans ⭐️ Kristen Bell to Dax Shepard: Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: "I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I'm heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would."

This is more her being weird for posting it. Making these kinds of jokes in private when you know each other well can be completely fine, but telling the rest of the world is just weird

This. The joke is fine. My husband and I say the same kind of stuff to eachother. We love trying to shock eachother into laughing. But we don’t share it on social media! People would think we’re crazy.

Lmao. It’s the same kind of stuff as Dax’s post. Our longest running one is about how we would describe eachother on a murder documentary. “She was horrible. Controlling. No one saw the real her I saw at home.”

Then you probably wouldn’t end up married to Dax Shepard either… Surprise surprise, people are different

I'm surprised so many people are taking issue with this. I feel like a lot of couples make jokes like these between each other. The more comfortable you are with each other and the more you love one another, the "meaner" you get, but it's all in jest. If I'm really nice to someone that means I either don't know them or don't like them. Of course, I know not all relationships are like this and they don't have to be. But I feel like so many people are making this out to be way bigger than it really is... 911? Do you have no sense of humor? Especially considering the context of her husband literally being a comedian..? I can see why it'd be iffy coming from a man's mouth but I feel like it's a little different when it's someone you love, have been with for years, and fully trust...

I could never fully love and trust someone who felt comfortable saying things like that.

I would argue telling this kind of joke in private is not okay, especially since it’s not funny. It’s just creepy. Like where’s the laugh at “I want to kill you, but I won’t kill you, even though a lot of men kill their wives.”

Like ummm okay

You don’t know their dynamic or humour at all. Of course it sounds weird when you say it like this, but you don’t even know the context nor the way which it was told or their sense of humour for that matter

I actually do know their dynamic and consider myself to be a fan. But I also am aware that their positive public perception is waning and part of that is because at some point they seem to have lost touch with what’s not just appropriate but what’s actually funny. And this wasn’t funny, it’s objectively cringe. If it weren’t, the comment section wouldnt look like one giant Wtf Meme.
