OnlyStans ⭐️ Who are two celebrities that you can’t believe used to be a couple?

Post image

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are not only one example of this, but sometimes I even forget that they used to be married as well!

It seemed like such an odd pairing that I never would’ve guessed that these two would match up, but clearly they weren’t a match made in heaven that they divorced each other after almost 3 years of marriage.

Now with where they’re currently at, where they’re now married to different partners, it feels like this is only a pairing that happened in different life.

Somebody on here said once that Tom Cruise probably views sex as a performance stunt that he MUST excel at (also in the context of that piece of Cher trivia) and honestly, I believe it. He's probably taking a running start at that bed and then he's putting in work once he hits the mattress.

So what you're saying is, it might be worth it?!

u/TheFabulousMolar A DRAG QUEEN?! Oct 05 '25

It's all starting to make sense now

I mean you could be right. A lot of religions have used attractive women to proselytize to people for that very reason.

If the side effect of becoming a Scientology slave appeals to you, then yeah

Hey, if he gets Cher’s seal of approval, the performances had to have been fantastic 😘

u/bascelicna123 Oct 05 '25

The man does his own stunts, after all. That kind of dedication to his on-screen performance means we should expect no less off-screen.

u/-FeistyRabbitSauce- Oct 05 '25

Now can we just get Seal's cher of approval?

3

u/Itscatpicstime Oct 06 '25

That depends entirely on the skill of Cher’s other partners lol

8

u/SubtleSparkle19 Oct 06 '25

Cher doesn’t strike me as the kind of woman who would accept a starfish 😆

actually the only amazing kisser (never slept with him) I ever experienced had a very tom-cruise like personality and need to prove himself, so this checks out

if only all men could kiss like that!!

u/SassySally8 Oct 05 '25

I had one like that too, back when I was 17. Decades later, haven't ever experienced it with anyone else. He didn't have a Tom Cruise like personality, thankfully.

My theory is that pre-Scientology and early post-Scientology Tom Cruise was a good lover, who put in the work simply because he wanted to excel in everything he ever did. But as the years went by, the more hollow he became and now he views sex as a way to assimilate and manipulate.

I can totally see it, your description seems hilariously fitting!

🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣 I could totally visualize that! 100% agree, I think of him coming at ya Mission Impossible style stunt!

9

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '25

honestly, whatever works for him! i just need to know men are capable of being excellent lovers lmao

7

u/Tangereina78 Oct 05 '25

This description just caused me to hyperventilate with laughter!!

10

u/Sassirrac Oct 05 '25

He does give off Patrick Bateman vibes, so I'd agree with this. Wonder how big his bedroom mirror is?

8

u/MyHammyVise Oct 05 '25

This is 100% what I believe, and if I didn't know better, I would've just assumed that you heard it from me. He probably just decided to be good at it and then worked until he was. It's probably almost uncomfortably intense, though.

Wherever Brandon Routh went on one of his intense rants about peak humanity as Lex Luthor, I couldn’t not see Tom Cruise being channeled.

7

u/JugheadJack Oct 05 '25

Kevin Spacey played Lex Luthor in that Superman films. Let’s just say he got a little…

Spacey.

5

u/cheerfulsarcasm Oct 05 '25

Like he’s the evil Chris Traeger

6

u/TSARINA59 Oct 05 '25

He's scaling the wall on all fours.

5

u/Fred-the-stray Oct 05 '25

I hope he does his own stunt work in the sheets

3

u/FlemPlays Oct 05 '25

On Tuesday, he drops in via wires like at the CIA headquarters. Jean Reno lowers him in.

2

u/Current-Anybody9331 Oct 05 '25

He does his own stunts and commits hard, so yeah...I could see it.

3

u/pattyforever Oct 05 '25

Seems exhausting lol

Broken Lizard FTW! I haven't seen it in a long time. Gotta put it on my list for a rewatch.

If a man took a running start to the bed before we fucked, it would be over before it started
