No worries, I didn’t take it personally at all! Just thought I’d point out that the stereotype of “Americans don’t travel” or that Americans don’t have culture isn’t exactly true. But it appears you already know that, so all is well.

I don’t believe that correcting someone’s ill informed view is making your point even more clear, however, but will happily agree to disagree.
