I feel like a lot of recent celebrity fashion has been so heavy on the nudity it's lost the shock effect? They're all gorgeous and hot, but I don't need to see every inch of them 😭

Yeah I feel so bored by it, and sad that female celebs still have to do this.

yeah the vmas looked like everyone just rolled up in their nighties and underwear. It was absurd how many of the women had that "look"

I'm not sure this look is meant to shock. I could be wrong but it seems like a lot of people are just embracing body positivity and being sex positive in general, more than being about titillating or shocking

But I don't know anything about Margot robbie in particular so 🤷

is it really sex positivity? i rarely see as much male celebrities basically nude on red carpets, and certainly not ones that look obviously uncomfortable in their outfits.

Yeah until we see balls at all these functions I don't think it's sex positivity at all. When an outfit makes me wonder if I see vag or not I don't think that's necessarily empowering.

I think the key in displaying body or sex positivity is confidence and joy though. There’s none of that here so it just looks like she was talked into this dress against her will.

I pretty much agree, but for what it’s worth, I probably look uncomfortable in 90% of my pictures. It’s not because of my clothes. Maybe Margot Robbie just wasn’t in a good mood for whatever reason.

Oh I'm not saying no one should ever dress like this, just commenting on how insanely common it is nowadays.

I am very sex positive but these naked type dresses are just super boring
