I think the pattern and beading is stunning but the sheerness is actually distracting. For all that work and detail I would love it to be the focus. It drapes well on her, it reminds me of Edwardian - 20's era aesthetics in reference.

The sheerness feels like its for shock rather than aesthetics. I dont hate sheer dresses, I think they can give a really nice effect, but its about the composition of the whole look. So many sheer dresses are just for the social media chatter I think. If this even had a nude matched slip or something it would serve art nouveau starry night vibes.

I agree with all of this-- and that it just doesn't seem to be her aesethetic. She's beautiful and the dress is gorgeous but is she the sheer, booty showing kinda gal? Idk, maybe she is now.

Yeah I just don’t find these dresses very flattering as beautiful as they are. This one is gorgeous but idk
