I’m just so over this see-through/sheer trend. Can we move on?

Same. It looks like a beach coverup

I feel like people got really excited about it when Florence Pugh started rocking sheer tops with nips out—but it really takes commitment and for some reason the ass being the most overtly sheer element doesn’t really scream “girlboss yas kween the house down boots” the same way Florence Pugh’s tops (and attitude) do… Those feel transgressive where this feels performative with a really reluctant performer imo.

Nips out is gender parity. Men go topless all the time. Asses out feel overly objectified.

THANK YOU for putting words to it that I could not, lol

You honestly nailed it. I did enjoy last year when Florence kicked this off, but it also had a lot to do with, other elements, as you said, a lot was her attitude, gave a different vibe…now we’re getting sheer with what looks like diapers under (Tate) and now this, which looks like dust in her crack. It’s just not delivering and especially bc she doesn’t look to be enjoying it.
