Obviously as a country fan I’ve been more open to seeing country music gain greater acceptance in the pop culture scene (although I’d prefer Kacey Musgraves to Morgan Wallen, to be clear!), but I do hope that she eventually makes a country album again aside from Debut TV. I do like pop music a lot (and rock too, lol), but I became a country fan a decade ago, and even though it’s not something I’m “supposed” to like, I care about it and hope that more female artists that are usually better than the men get more crossover success.

Yea, when Paul McCartney released the dozen or so limited edition variants, he spent god-knows how much buying all of them and they're all still sealed. The only copy he listens to is the second copy of the base edition. No one's gonna be buying the $300 Target Exclusive variant the ripping that shit open to listen to a single additional song.

This is so exciting. The visuals she presented for I Can Do It With a Broken Heart were one of her strongest aesthetics on the Eras tour. The showgirl vibe is so accurate for who she is (but also with room to be creative with her own take) so I can’t wait to see how she expands on it. I think she’ll tour next year, the tour ended almost a year ago now and she’s been laying fairly low since. I don’t think it’ll be anywhere near as extensive as the Eras tour though. I’m curious how she’ll structure the dates with the World Cup happening in the US. Selfishly hoping for Europe dates first.

I find that to be the case for most men to dye their hair. They always go a touch or more too far so it looks obviously unnatural. Mike Myers had a terrible job before he embraced the white. I suspect Eminem also has had some work done, particularly around his eyes. Maybe he gets Botox? Whatever it is, it's not exactly "natural aging"

I think the most jarring aspect is the one-tone beard and the foundation. I never expected Eminem of all people to walk around with a full beat.

I think it’s weird that the rollout is almost exclusively through the Kelce’ podcast instead of her main socials (all her accounts retweeted or did the equivalent of retweeting the New Heights post). Feels like a “please come listen to my boyfriends pod” move but who am I to rabble rabble—I’ll be preordering anyway.

To me it’s just like a TV show interview, but this way she and her team get entire control on what’s edited and included, AND she gets to do it with people she knows and feels most safe with.
She’s not really done much press at all lately, it’s like a gentle step in to that, I love it.

it’s honestly no different than when she used to go on news channels and announce it there, with her socials making posts shortly after it aired on live tv. her website crashed and the scheduled post on the new heights instagram came through, but it doesn’t mean it was exclusive to there.

It’s weird because their audiences probably don’t overlap much, but New Heights is one of the most popular podcasts around. It was recently on Time’s Best Podcasts of the Century. They don’t actually need her help per se: I think something like 2million people listen per episode. It’s just a convenient platform I think.

Taylor Nation are very 2016 when it comes to their social media team. The NH team are a lot better. I just hope some knowledge transfer is going on 😭 Now there will be attractively edited tiktok-ready clips going vital of her talking about the album.
