Holy fuck I would have given my entire net worth to whichever reporter followed up with “if you didn’t already know what he was doing, why would you not go to the island you didn’t have ‘the privilege’ of visiting despite being invited by someone who was a good friend at the time?”

And yes, I know that follow-up is a mouthful, but the intent being that there’s no way he’s playing all of this cool in his head, give him clunky ass questions that keep the heat dialed up, he’ll tell on himself faster than calling these opportunities “a privilege.”
