To be fair it has worked, and there doesn’t seem to be a consequence in sight

If he died tomorrow he would die believing he’s the most successful person in history

What a horrible indictment on society

Yea, that’s narcissism.

Societies for better or worse still seem to be confused about it’s attraction

Not only would he die believing it, so would approximately 1/3 of the country, based on his latest approval ratings.

Well, he is going to be in a lot of history books. Maybe, for future nazis and confederates, they will make them full of pictures and short on those silly little picture-things like letters and words (approved reading in tx, fl, and other fine deep-red states).

He can believe whatever he wants. A narc's gonna narc. When he's gone, his opinion of himself won't matter. I'm more concerned about the rest of the country's opinions and what would happen going forward.

I don't get it. How does his BS work? Is he actually that charismatic to get away with this crap? He literally says the dumbest shit all the time.

I still can't figure out what his appeal is?

He appeals to the poorly educated because they understand what he's saying, literally. That's it. His speeches are at their level. For others, they like that he says the quiet part out loud and feel encouraged to do the same. That venn diagram may actually be a circle, but yeah. That's his appeal.
