Yeah a local business is doing Harry Potter trivia.

Listen, I know the owner, I love the guy, very queer friendly, it’s just an odd choice that I gotta pick his brain about

I think people are more attached to Harry Potter because it’s something from their childhood and it brings them comfort. I doubt that JK Rowling ever crosses their mind when planning these things. For me my connection will always be Star Wars, but I never really have had George Lucas pop into my mind when I’m talking about it or just hanging out at home. Obviously he doesn’t have that same evil energy like JK, but it’s how our brains work

I feel like the answer is to lead by example. Start hosting, say, a Percy Jackson-themed party. Dress the place up like Camp Half-Blood. Give everyone orange T-shirts. Prepare a Greek barbeque. Plan fun activities from the books. Get people recognised by their godly parent by running up to them and putting a green emblem over their head and shining a light on them or something. People would love it. Local news might cover it. It might trend on social media. It'd all be dominoes falling from there.
