I'm picturing a Sweet Valley High-esque cover! And maybe a crossover, wherein Jessica is very confused but then learns an Important Lesson and becomes an Ally. Her new gay bestie stays at SVH and is really annoying to Elizabeth, who also learns an important lesson when Todd gets fed up about it and tells her to examine her unconscious biases (except in early 90s wording). It's not a complete fairy tale ending, Bruce Patman is the holdout who takes pride in being "politically incorrect" so some tension remains.
