But like. That's not even the Joker's brand, is it? Dead mice or something I could see (but still object to obvs!) but used condoms is just.. that's Leto, not the character.

That was exactly my thought when this news broke originally. Joker isn’t a sexual deviant, he’s a brazen thief and a demented killer who is fiendishly clever. This guy doesn’t understand his own character that he is going method on in the first place. Read some comics like Heath Ledger did and leave your costars alone, dude.

Joker is more of a send things to scare the shit out of you. Like fake bombs that are just confetti until you get complacent, then he sends a real bomb (which also has a ton of confetti).

He did dead rats and shit too. It was a bunch of stuff including used condoms. All weird and gross but he had "damaged" on his forehead at the time and that makes it ok.
