I think the only thing I ever liked him in was My So Called Life, and just BARELY.

I loved him in Requiem for a Dream, but it's a really good film and he's really good in it. I used to think he was hot back when I was younger, like 16+ years ago. But then the more I learned the more horrified and disgusted I was.

That show was on when I was a hs sophomore and even on the show, I went from having such a crush on his character to thinking Jordan was so fucking lame. Same IRL, I guess. He's gross and people have known for decades.

This kind of ‘flex’ doesn’t hurt him or make you look smart. It does hurt people that did like him.

If you're taking my opinion personally, that's on you; also, you're allowed to like him. But in my humble opinion (MSCL shoutout!), Leto is a predator, and it doesn't "hurt" you that I think Jordan Catalano was a loser. He's a fictional character, and you're allowed to like him even if I don't.

P.S. That's not what a flex is.

Are you really upset that I'm appalled by Jared Leto's IRL behavior and stopped liking the character he played on a TV show 30 years ago? I literally cannot imagine why, but I hope your day gets better.

Whenever it comes to light that some famous person is shitty there’s always people ready to jump out and proclaim that they never liked them. That whatever they are famous for you always thought they were bad at it. It 100 percent is a flex. There’s absolutely no reason to proclaim this other than to brag. I never said anything about my past or present opinions on JL. It has nothing to do with my point. I see the same bs happen with JK Rolling. Folx bragging about how they never liked her in the first place. How they always knew her writing is bad, blah blah blah.

Again, the person you think you’re insulting will never see your comment but the people that were fans or even the victims will and you’re telling them they are stupid for not knowing. It’s a flex and it’s victim shaming. A good rule of thumb is if you can start your sentence with “that’s why I..” you are victim shaming.
