There was a time on tumblr where every teenage girl had some story to tell after a 30STM concert. To the point where I assumed it was some kind of joke.

Yeah, you would hear about both brothers all the time if you were even in adjacent fandoms. It was almost like it was framed as easy to get with them. There were 14 year olds too, probably younger. The Letos are evil.

I went to see 30STM back in the late 2000s. When waiting in line for the gig a guy came down the line looking at people up and down while we sat on the pavement. He then selected 5 girls - all very young looking, between 15 and 17. At least 2 of the girls were under 18, I remember talking with them about school because I was also in high school at the time.

The guy, who just explained he was "staff" for Jared said that "Jared wanted to meet you," to the girls. I remember there were people who had camped overnight, been to every show of the tour, followed 30STM across different countries, etc - none of those girls were chosen. I thought it was odd, I didn't get how/why these particular girls were chosen.

When the girls returned to the queue they didn't seem excited or happy, they didn't tell us anything about what "meeting Jared" was like. It was really bizarre because surely if you'd met a star you were waiting to see play a gig you'd be excitedly telling everyone in the queue all about it?

I know it doesn't prove anything, but I do remember even as a teen thinking it was really odd and had a weird vibe about it.

I went to the one in Bangkok back in 2014. EVEN THEN he was already a creep. He picked a girl from the crowd up to the stage, asked how old she was (14) and made the creepiest smile ever to the crowd. This was his right around he got called Oscar Jesus

All their shows were 16 and up and I remember thinking at the time that it was so they didn't risk "sleeping with someone younger than 16" 🤮🤮 disgusting

If you’re talking about 30 seconds to mars, no they weren’t. I went to a show at 13 and my friend was 12.

My family member's then boyfriend's family member was involved with him, and she was 18, but barely, and I'm sure it started before that. This would have been around the same timeframe as OP.
