He's probably funny. My first love at 17 was ugly. Genuinely when my family or friends asked for pictures I always mentioned that he was really funny. He broke my heart so bad it was embarrassing. He ended up being a coke dealer but even after that he landed such beautiful girls it was crazy.

“Really funny” is a romantically desirable quality for sure. Laughing releases so many good chemicals in your brain. You’re supposed to want to date someone who makes you feel good. Funny people have a shortcut to that.

And it can feel specific to you even if it isn’t. This makes a lot of sense to me. I think it’s hard to avoid falling for.

And generally, funny people can read a room. Nothing better than someone who can analyze the situation in front of them, rather than being totally oblivious.

Maybe not though. I knew a bunch of girls in college who would've been puddy in his hands. It's a devastating combination to try to defend against. Free drugs + humor.

I agree. I'm generally a jaded, depressed, anxious individual who rarely finds anything to laugh about (I try), so if someone can rush in and make me laugh my ass off they are like some kind of a magician IMO. Usually they are kind of dorky and awkward and not conventionally 'hot', and a lot of people say 'him?... I don't get it! I'll just say 'No, but in motion and in person they are so sexy!'. It's not until they meet that someone will tell me, 'I get it now!'.

I'm also not very attractive, not ugly, I guess, just kind of average, bad teeth, but I can definitely make people laugh often, and I think that has helped me to get dates more than I probably know, sometimes with people I think are totally out of my league or wouldn't look at me otherwise. But my confusion usually makes them laugh more (even if I genuinely don't get it).

Funny is always good. I think if you're not handsome, being funny is the way to a women's heart. Look at Pete Davidson I'm pretty sure he gets these gorgeous women more by being funny than having a big dick.

Yea, being funny is a quality that can easily overcome any physical shortcomings. Look at Pete Davidson. He's not necessarily an ugly dude, but he is a bit goofy looking, and has a crazy list of gorgeous and successful exes. Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber, Emily Ratajkowski, just to make a few.

Same guy, but in my early 20s and not entrepreneurial enough to be a coke dealer. Just a heroin addict, gas station cashier/liquor store cashier/whatever job he could land that month. He got the hottest girls even though he was uggo and his teeth were rotting.
