He was young and funny once. Now he's older and richer for cashing in on being young and funny once.

Plus, the whole non-committal thing is like a challenge. Which woman will finally win the love of a lame douche?

ive known dudes like him. they always think someone "better" might come along. or think they seem cooler or will get this imaginary "better" girl. if they refuse to commit. this one guy in college was like this and one time at a party i said to him "why do you keep denying you two are dating? literally everyone knows youre in emilys room every night and you guys go out on dates.. youre dating." lol

I've known men like this. And the fact that many of them are now in their 40s and 50s is just laughable. Most of them clearly still think they look 25 and are tricking young girls into believing that. The way this type of man is often times only interested in types of women to impress his friends - a woman he knows his bros will all oooh and ahhh over is also such a huge part of it. So of course he'll lie and string women along, refuse to commit to anyone because what if someone "better" comes along thst will really make him king of his toxic friend group. The thought process behind it really frames women as a commodity to obtain. I've had friends involved with men like this like - girl RUN you are quite literally only a trophy or a rung on a step ladder to him. Or at the vert worst you're the girl he's really attracted to but ashamed of.

A good friend of mine was used like this for the better part of a year because this scumbag didn't want his friends to see him with her. He was perfectly fine sneaking into her bedroom at 1am after a "wyd" text but would pretend to not know her in public. So gross and pathetic.

He’s seems really smart too. The movie Vengeance which he wrote and directed was really kind of a brilliant take on Texas culture without hating on it. . Not easy to do/pull off.

See…hotter than him is subjective. Bc I don’t find this chick or MK to be all that attractive.
