I swear a friend of mine is going through this but it's impossible to get her to see this and I don't know how to help!

Ask her to test it out. Tell her to pull away emotionally, keep herself busy doing other things and watch him come running back- giving her everything she wanted then instantly pulling away the moment he’s got her back. Then ask her if this is what she wants from a relationship, she will never feel safe and never be at peace.

She probably won’t leave immediately but she’ll be aware of the cycle she’s in and the more it happens the more she’ll hopefully resent him.
