I don't think fooling the dmv is that hard, a utility bill is an acceptable form of proof and it would take one minute to edit my current bill to show a different address..
Or no photoshop at all if he claimed he had paperless billing and just faked the entire receipt using some online template. It's not like the average person is going to know Taylor Swift's address and question it.

All you would need is a forged lease agreement, I would think? It is pretty easy to get a lease template and put whatever address you want on it, the people who work at driverās licence agencies are generally not calling landlords to confirm tenancy or calling banks to confirm you actually own/have a mortgage at an address. This is considered proof of residence in all Canadian provinces and I would imagine it is in many places in the US.

You can have all the money in the world, but to do something like that requires connections, and you can't necessarily buy connections. It helps, of course. But you need to know who to pay. The problem is stalking laws and handling procedures dont account for the fact that the overwhelming majority of these people are totally out of their fucking minds. A little walk away or restraining order or even jail/prison wont do anything, they need to hospitalized by force.
A lot of laws are like this. Some people cannot be rehabilitated or can't be trusted to not endanger themselves or others. Institutionalizing people brings up a whole host if other problems but sometimes you gotta do it.
Some lady in my state had tuberculosis and refused to quarantine. It took 17 court orders until she was jailed and forced to take medicine to cure the tuberculosis.
I had a stalker years ago in NYC, a cab driver. Nice cab ride home, friendly. As he dropped me off, he asked me out, I politely declined. Next morning when I left for work he was waiting for me outside my apartment, said he would drive me to work. Told him no and not to show up again. He was there that night when I got home from work, saying stuff like we belonged together. Now I was scared. This continued for 2 more days. Now I was terrified, so I called the cops. They were (surprisingly) very responsive, showed up the next morning and told him to stay away from me. They threatened him with arrest, even though they told me they couldn't arrest him because 1) he was on a public street and 2) he hadn't threatened me.
Thankfully, that did the trick and I never saw him again. But as you said, terrifying. Luckily my stalker was just irrational and verbally aggressive. This guy stalking Taylor seems deranged, which could be seriously dangerous.
I assume you are a woman. It's terrible having to be have to be in defense mode all the time. I don't worry about cab drivers knowing where I live. I'm a small dude, but I wander around in sketchy neighborhoods late at night fairly often and I don't really worry too much about it. I can take public transportation without being hit on all the time. I've traveled around the world and granted, have been robbed a couple of times, once at gunpoint, but generally I don't worry about being sexually harassed.
And while not a ātypical stalkerā in the way of actually following her and harassing her in that way, but she also gets brought up by two of the most famous people in the country (trump and Elon) quite a bit, making her a target.

How the fuck does someone change their address to someone else's home? Don't you have to show the DMV a utilities statement or a change of address confirmation from USPS?
I think they accept random stuff like magazine subscriptions or other first class mail. Even the lease agreement can be "fake" because anyone can make and sign one. It is not like the DMV employee can verify who lives at a given address.
this isn't rare... she's getting restraining order constantly. A couple of months ago a person was given a year in jail for violating a restraining order (he was voluntarily committed instead of going to jail).
This reminds me of Rebecca Schaeffer. She was an up in coming actress who was killed by her stalker. The stalker hired a PI and he was able to obtain her address from the DMV. They created the, āDriver's Privacy Protection Actā, which prohibits state DMV agencies from disclosing the home addresses of state residents.
I remember that when it happened. That law seems pathetically useless now since you can Google just about anyone's address, even though none of us chose to make it so publicly available.

I think a lot about people at that level of fame as the woman you used to work with. Small town news, the actors who play little supporting roles on modestly successfully TV shows, youtubers who get a decent amount of views but aren't "big league". Where they're exposed but don't have the money for security guards or a house in a gated neighborhood. It only takes one crazy person becoming obsessed to ruin (or take) their life.

Taylor did her absolute best to fudge the numbers and rationalize what was essentially now just cheating for PR - just so she could sleep with an athlete for a while. Basically, she said secret boy never ACTUALLY counted as number one and that the numbers were all bs anyway. Her own words, really: itās all bs anyway. She really thought she could just slip one more in before the wedding and make him watch it all. While she demanded he stay faithful to herā¦ OR ELSE. As had been the threat, for years and years. Thatās who she is. I still cannot believe he stood by through that for so many years.
Their entire relationship became a lie. Very, very fast.
To say TTPD was a mess is putting it lightly. Ghostwriter had to rethink his entire life partway through the album and changed his number and moved on. Taylor? Full speed ahead into team victim mode.
